Believe it or not, the Wii is the seventh system released by Nintendo. On November 19, 2006 Nintendo became a serious competitor against the XBox 360 and Playstation 3. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata projects sales of the Wii to climb near the 50 million mark. So far the Nintendo Wii console is on its way to become the highest selling system of all time.
